Larkya La Pass, located in the Manslu Conservation Area (in between Dharmasala and Bimthang) is considered as the highest point of Manaslu Circuit Trek, being in an elevation of 5,106 meters/16,752 feet. It is known to be one of the longest passes in the Himalayan Region of Nepal.

The splendid views of views of mountains like Mount Manaslu, Himlung, Annapurna-II, Kang Guru and Choyo Himal from the top of the Larkya La pass is the major attraction of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Also, the glacier streams originated from these Himalayas have unique picturesque. The beautiful forests, streams and culturally reached typical Nepali rural villages are other attraction during the entire journey.

As this pass is located at a higher altitude, the chances of being caught with altitude sickness with symptoms like headache, shortness in breath, nausea, vomiting and dizziness is quiet high. Acclimatization is highly suggested before escalating to such higher altitudes.
