Clulu East Climbing Peak lies at south east of Chulu west of with a height of 6584m placed in Manang Valley. Chulu East is a part of Gyanjung Himal including Chulu West (6419m), Chulu Central (6584m), Chulu East (6429m) and Chulu Far East (6059m). Chulu East, together with Chulu West, forms an integral part of the Manang Himal, which in turn is included in large Damodar Himal.

The entire range is flanked by a range of glaciers from the north side and climbing involves setting glacier transverse to each of the peaks. At 6564m, Chulu East Climbing peak is located north of Annapurna massif presents a very attractive peak climbing attractive for trekkers doing Annapurna circuit either full version or of half version to Manang.

The views from Chulu East, 400meters higher than Pisang Peak, are absolutely spectacular on the entire Annapurna range including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machhapuchre, and entire magnificent grand barrier from Tilicho Peak to Roc Noir. The access to the Base Camp from Nagwal along Julu Khola valley is also very spectacular with the view on Chulu east and its smaller cousin Chulu Far East.

How to Get Nepal

Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepal: Nepal Airlines, Turkish Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Air India, Air Arabia, Emirates, Air China, Oman Air, Druk Air, Korean Air, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. It is also possible to travel overland from India or China. You can check with your local travel agent for competitive airfares or please contact us.

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

Passport and Visa

You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
Visa Fees:
• US $ 30 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
• US $ 50 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
• US $ 125 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

Health and Fitness

All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal. You have any pre existing medical condition or disability you might increase the risk of your requiring medical attention you need to inform to Dream Heaven Adventure. You should be aware of the risk of altitude sickness and frostbite, and allow yourself time to adjust to changes in altitude and temperature. This may hamper your ability to travel.
