Kongde Peak also known as Kwangde Ri is one of the difficult trekking peak. Its northern summit, Kongde Nup (19795 ft), which is climbed from a base camp in the rarely visited Lumding valley, makes a superb trekking peak objective and also provides a simply fantastic vantage point.

The summit panorama extends across the Khumbu, from Ama Dablam and Makalu in the east, to Everest and Cho Oyu and includes the spectacular Rolwaling peaks, to the northwest; Kwangde 6011 meters is located above the famous Sherpa Village of Namche Bazaar and is ripe for those wanting to ascend a seldom-climbed 6000 meters peak.

Combine this with a remote approach with through sun spoilt alpine terrain and you have the essence of this challenging climb. While going to Kongde peak climbing, cliembers will feel real adventure of the Himalaya.

This difficult mountain forms an impressive multi-summated ridge in running from the summit of Nup (6035m/19799ft). Southeast through the summits of Kwangde Cho (6187m/20298ft) and Kwangde Shar (6093m/19990ft) and then torus sharply south- southern through several lower summits and terminates at Nupla (5885m/19307ft).

All of these summits are included in the peak permit. Kwangde Ri Peak Climbing is suitable for experienced climbers who are looking for rarely climbed and challenging small peaks in the Himalayas will find this peak very attractive.

Itinerary

Meet you at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel, after your freshness briefing program for your Climbing.

    After your breakfast we will start a guided tour to the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley, including Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Buddha Nath, one of the large Stupas in the world, overnight at hotel.

      After having breakfast, scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla the trail continues to Phakding which takes 3-4 hours, on the way you see spectacular view of Mt Nupla(5885m), Kusum Kangaru(6367m) and the Mount Kwangde Range. Overnight hotel in Phakding

        Today, the trail follows the Sherpa villages and magnificent forests by crossing through the Dudh Koshi valley. Along the way, one can explore magnificent view of Kusum Kangru(6369m), Thamserku(6608m), Everest(8848m) and Nuptse (7879 m). Overnight hotel in Namche

          Today you will be free in Namche Bazaar; you have a short hike up to Khumjung. You can visit beautiful market, Sherpa village and of course enjoy with the magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Kwangde. Overnight at Namche Hotel

            Today, the path climbs steeply out of natural depression through bush forest, juniper and huge conifers begin to seem because the elevation will increase creating trekking stunning.

              Take a morning breakfast in Thame, then the trail ascend up all the way towards Kwangde base camp. This is very beautiful day in the region, we walk through incredibly peaceful region as we meet very few climbers on the way. We arrives base camp earlier, so will explore around and stay overnight in Base camp of Kwangde

                Acclimatization is most for today as we are higher altitude. We will do some hike/climb and back to base camp to make our day easier. This will be climbing practice day under the proper guidance from our trek/climbing guide. Stay overnight in Kongde base camp.

                  After early morning breakfast, we start our climbing all the way up to High camp. This day will be tough as we struggle climbing towards higher elevation of 5200 meter. After 4-5 hours trekking we will reach to High Camp, explore around and enjoy the surrounding of High camp, stay overnight here.

                    Tioday we climb from High Camp to Kwangde Summit (6011m) under the guidance of our experienced guide. The climbing guide will take you slowly for summit of Kwangde Peak, once summit the top of peak enjoying the panoramic views of Mount Everest ( 8848m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8188m) along with other numerous peaks and back to Kwangde Base Camp, Overnight at Tented Camp

                      After successful achievement of Kwangde Peak at 6011 meters, we trek down to Namche Bazaar passing through alpine vegetation passing through Thame village, stay overnight in Namche Bazaar

                        Today the trekking trail drops sharply down to Lukla by following the Dudh Kosi stream. Among the evening get pleasure from with last mountain sunsets of the trek as we’ve a bent to finish this exhilarating journey.

                          Breakfast. Early morning flight to Kathmandu. Aerial views from aero plane will be astonishing as you will be able to view various scenic beauties, snowcapped mountains and other natural peaks. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner from the Dream Heaven Adventure for successful accomplishment of your trekking.

                            Morning breakfast and take a rest and enjoy the images which were captured during the trek. Enjoy farewell dinner in the evening with our team for the celebration of successful completion of our journey to EverestGokyo trek with GokyoChola Pass. Stay overnight in the same hotel at Kathmandu.

                              This is the last day of your stay in Nepal. Our airport representative will drop you up to the Tribhuvan International Airport.

                                How to Get Nepal

                                Flights arrive at Kathmandu, from where internal connecting flights are possible. The following are some of the airlines that fly to Nepal: Nepal Airlines, Turkish Air, Qatar Air, Indian Airlines, Air India, Air Arabia, Emirates, Air China, Oman Air, Druk Air, Korean Air, and Singapore Airlines fly into Kathmandu. It is also possible to travel overland from India or China. You can check with your local travel agent for competitive airfares or please contact us.

                                Travel Insurance

                                Personal travel insurance is not included in the prices mentioned. But every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants; it is condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is visible to take a “Trip cancellation and medical insurance policy” before your arrival into Kathmandu. Medical coverage is especially mandatory for those who are trekking in high altitudes. It covers injury, death, lost baggage, medical treatment and expenses, and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services in case of emergency.

                                Passport and Visa

                                You need to have a valid passport having minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu airport. Do not forget that you will also need two passport size photos to take Nepal visa. Do not require visa for Indian nationalities.
                                Visa Fees:
                                • US $ 30 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 15 days.
                                • US $ 50 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 30 days.
                                • US $ 125 or convertible foreign currency equivalent for 90 days.
                                Allowed only 150 days to stay in Nepal in a calendar year on a tourist visa.

                                Health and Fitness

                                All tour and treks in Nepal demanded a significant level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before you travel in Nepal.
