Bhote Kosi River rafting is suitable for those who want a short but intense and thrilling white water rafting adventure and who has some previous rafting experience. Rafting on the Bhote Kosi is a full body experience, with much more involved than simply paddling forward and backward.

Bhote Koshi has it all, thrilling action and breathtaking scenery from thrilling drops, deep gorges and amazing lime stone formations. The river flows through a beautiful narrow canyon with lush green vegetation and waterfalls coming in from the steep stone walls. It has upper sections of grade 4-5. Starting point of this rafting trip is Baseri and end at Lamosangu dam.

Itinerary

Early morning drive to rafting starting point, 95 km. east from Kathmandu. This drive through villages and if weather is good you can see spectacular views of mountain i.e. Ganesh Himal, Langtang etc; after you arrive in the camp lunch will be served. After your lunch rafting crews will deliver a safety talk and provide all paddling gear for the trip. Then paddles starts dancing rhythmically like as paddle forward, backward… on the first day we have only III class rapids because we are going to have real adventure day tomorrow. The river flows through a beautiful narrow canyon with lush green vegetation and waterfalls coming in from the steep stone walls

After breakfast pack up your gears and again a class 3 rapid starting from upper section. This is second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. You will have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point. We can say without doubt this is some of the finest whitewater rafting to be had anywhere. After ends our trip, load up all the kits on bus and drive back to Kathmandu.
