Itinerary

Early morning after breakfast drive to Sankhu by the private vehicle. Sankhu, one of the most senior Newar town of the Kathmandu valley holds perfect characteristic surroundings and offers an aplenty of society and legacy of the Goddess and local Newar community. It inferred from the definitive Newar dialect Sakwo: implies the settlement beside the Tibet. From here your pleasant hiking starts to Nagarkot which takes about 4 hours, you can take a lunch on the way. The Nagarkot Village masses up on an edge confronting one of the broadest conceivable perspectives of the Countryside. Overnight at Nagarkot hotel (2170m).

In the early morning magnificent Sunrise view over the great Himalayan Ranges including Everest 8848 m. and others high mountains in Nepal. After breakfast back to Kathmandu, on the way you can visit famous and historical Hindu temple Changunarayan (World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Changunarayan is the most senior pagoda style sanctuary in Nepal built on fifth century . It is accepted that the territory facilitated an unanticipated settlement when Kathmandu valley was a lake.

    Wonderful 2-day tour near Kathmandu for nature and culture lovers

    I went on a private tour organised by Arjun Pandey. The guide was Deepak. It was a 2-day tour starting with a private car from Kathmandu to Sankhu. From there we walked to Nagarkot, stayed the night, and walked to Changu Narayan. From there we were picked up by the private car and visited Bhaktapur, then returned to Kathmandu. It was beautiful, the guide was friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. I had no worries. Everything was organised smoothly. I felt they cared about my well-being and ensuring I had the best possible experience. Warmly recommended! Easy walk for nature and culture lovers.
