Changu Narayan Day tour is unique one day tour program visiting the lovely and noteworthy sanctuary to the eastern end of Kathmandu valley. The temple is accepted to be sixteen hundred years of age. It is decorated by the best cases of stone, wood, and metal specialty. It is arranged at the highest point of the knoll. From where, you can explore the delightful white Himalayas and knolls in the north and the entire surrounding perspective of the Kathmandu valley.
The pagoda style sanctuary has some showstoppers of fifth and twelfth century Nepalese craftsmanship. The twofold roofed sanctuary is devoted to Vishnu in his incarnation as Narayan and is incredibly wonderful, with amazingly many-sided top struts portraying multi-equipped Tantric divinities. It is fronted on the west side by a stooping figure of Garuda said to date from the fifth century.
