Group Trek vs. Private Trek on Short Notice – Which is Best?

If you are concerned about whether to join group trek or private trek on a short notice, don’t worry; we are here to help you. Deciding between a group trek or private trek is crucial part for your journey. Let’s take a brief look about pros and cons of Group Trek Vs Private Trek on short notice:

Group Joining Trek

Joining a last minute group trek is usually easier and faster. If you are travelling solo, you can join already existing groups for your journey. You must be in group of two people in order to trek in the Manaslu region, so group trek helps individual trekkers as well as late planners. You can easily join scheduled group departure treks arranged by your hired agency. This is also budget friendly option as you will be sharing the cost for guide, porter and transportation with other fellow trekkers. However, if you choose to go for a group trek you must follow the fixed itinerary which might be difficult and challenging.

Private Trek

Booking a private trek at last minute gives you full control over your schedule and Pace. This kind of trek is more flexible as you can customize your trip according to your own will. You can choose to travel with your family or friends, but if you are alone your agency will hire a personal guide ad porter forming a group. But arranging a private trek at the final moment can be more challenging and more expensive.

Important Note on Trek Options: Joining a group trek is faster and more affordable, while a private trek offers greater flexibility but may take more time and cost more to arrange. Both options allow you to experience the stunning beauty of Manaslu. If you book instantly and we don’t have a group available on your travel date, we will organize a private trip just for you.
